After a few months of creating and scheduling posts for Fast Company’s Instagram, I was given the opportunity of designing two of my own custom templates, that would be used for text-only posts. In other words, articles gone social. Pictured on the right, is the first template I designed, which later was used and became one of the highest performing posts of the year.

Three color palettes and slightly different shape configurations were produced for the template to offer the feed variety.

The main factors to consider with this project: sticking to Fast Company’s brand, but creating a fresh look for these kinds of posts. Across both templates, I focus heavily on dynamic shapes and gradients to produce high energy, attention-catching graphics that stops someone mid-scroll.
