Kitty Cottage Adoption Center

A full rebrand suite for a local cat adoption center.

This opportunity was found during my senior year at UArts, in a class called Real World Design. We were assigned real clients, looking for a real rebrand.

We had three stages. Research, a first round presentation of in-progress design, and a final presentation to our client.

Being a nonprofit, our client’s goal was to raise funding and increase viewership.
My team and I decided to focus on their friendly and human nature—seen in the hand-cut typeface and simple illustration— executing a fresh and playful look to draw in a wider range of customers.

We had one restriction: to take inspiration from the original logo made by a family member within the nonprofit. Our challenge was to create a look that reflects a new and improved era that still feels familiar.

Final style guide!
